I tested the SEED Electrical Lunch Box (in short ELB) to make a few half boiled eggs for my children. The heating elements boil water very efficiently. I think within 60 seconds...This is fantastic not only for half boiled eggs but for instant noodles as well...I pour water into the heating elements, placed the eggs on the given tray stand, close the lid then start to heat up. I found that if you make half boiled eggs with preheat ELB should be a lot faster. It maybe become soft boiled eggs. haha.
Watch out your hands when you remove the lid after heating for sometimes. Becareful...
